Age group awards are presented to male and female runners separately. We have thirteen age group categories for men and thirteen for women, making twenty-six total awards. The categories are fourteen and under, fifteen to nineteen, twenty to twenty-four, twenty-five to twenty-nine, thirty to thirty-four, thirty-five to thirty-nine, forty to forty-four, forty-five to forty-nine, fifty to fifty-four, fifty-five to fifty-nine, sixty to sixty-four, sixty-five to sixty-nine, and seventy and older.

Age group winners receive a jacket as well. Please note that the top five overall winners are not eligible also to receive an age group award. You must compete in at least two races to qualify for an age group jacket.

Your points follow your age category throughout the series. If you earn points in one age group early in the year and then have a birthday that moves you to a new category before the next race, your points travel with you to that new group. Your final age category for the series is determined by your age on December twenty fourth, even if you do not run the Frosty 5K.
